"By far one of our favorite date spots!!! Wednesday nights are free open mic night and one night we popped in after dinner by chance and saw Chelsea Peretti from Brooklyn 99! She gave an impromptu set and it was so great! We most recently saw Damon Wayons there. It’s our go-to spot for a casual setting and good laughs!"

"This is our Go To movie theater, albeit we aren't huge movie goers. It is close to some low key restaurants and has an arcade. It's great for a chill date night. They have Pepsi products and the prices are in line with most theaters. There is a kiosk to make gift card and ticket purchases easy, but also has a human option available. We've always seen plenty of staff to direct "traffic" and have found them helpful. It's a broader Regal Theaters intro, but it has the roller coaster thing--makes me a little nauseous. The sound has never been over powering for me, although I say that with a disclaimer that I haven't watched an action move there. "

"Yelm Cinemas is one of the best local places in Yelm! I love that you can pre-purchase and select your seats, they offer military pricing and the service is always friendly. The theaters are a good size and they rotate movies often and will frequently bring back classics for a special showing. Uptown Lounge has delicious food and drinks and a great all in one date spot!"

"I use to watch Dave Chihuly on tv when I was little and I was obsessed! This is a fun FREE place to explore and bring the kids or go on a date night. It’s beautiful during the day but I prefer it at night. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and businesses to explore as well as the waterfront. I’m always looking for fun cheap things to get out of the house and do so for me this is just splendid! You have to see it for yourself!"
