"Mince Mercantile is a wonderful neighborhood staple. After the DuPont General Store closed, the town was in need of a new business to step in. Mince, or sometimes referred to as, “The Merc,” is a one-stop shop for one of a kind gifts, homemade bakery items, craft PNW wine and beers and a dine-in spot for breakfast/lunch. They offer WiFi to working professionals on the go and craft coffee. They often host community events and you will likely see Virginia Mince, the owner, decorating custom cookies. It’s a gem of a place and the heart of DuPont. I’m glad they exist and hope they are here to stay."

"I have a love/hate relationship with this commissary. It feels new and exciting because the layout is different than any other commissary I've been in, but for the same reason, I feel like it takes much longer to shop because it is not predictable like others. I have not had issues with expired food or vegetables that don't last, although this is a common complaint in this area. The staff has been as helpful I have always experienced forever. You don't have to pay for bags on base like you do off. The self check out allows you to skip the bagger, as usual, so if you're looking to minimize the fees, that is an option. The novelty candy is always buried in the front. and is the last thing you see. "

"Fred Meyer is overall a decent place to get groceries and household items. Prices are good. They have a great rewards programs you can sign up for and get additional savings. Great selection variety: they have a pharmacy, gaming section, a place to buy real jewelry and get your jewelry fix, and a Starbucks. You can also get fresh seafood along with fresh deli and baked goods. There is self checkout in the location. Overall great experience."

"Safeway is overall a decent place to get groceries and household items. This location stays open until midnight. Even open on holidays with different hours. The prices are reasonable. They have a great rewards programs you can sign up for and get additional savings. the rewards program allows you to save on gas also. There is self checkout in the location. The clerks are generally polite and attentive. The store is usually clean. I enjoy shopping at Safeway."
